This is a larger painting that I've started, it's 24" x 28". I really like doing larger paintings as opposed to the smaller ones with a single subject, composition and pattern is important to me and it's hard to convey that in a very small painting.
I spent a lot of time photographing the objects and rearranging them in the computer to come up with a composition that I liked. Sometimes I use photographs for composition and sometimes I do thumbnail and small sketches in my sketchbook to work out the composition.

Awesome painting. I agree with you. With a large canvas we can really explore the subject and project it well. I liked the mirror reflections of the glasses. Great job. Art Glass
